The legend of the Arctic Fox
The North tells us many tales. One of them is about a majestic creature, the Arctic Fox. It lives in the woods, on the snowy lands of the Arctic, far from the eyes of all beings. It's nearly impossible to spot it, but we can witness its magical creation. As it rushes across the icy landscape, its furry tail sweeps up the snow all the way to the skies, creating the phenomenon we know as the Northern Lights.
Our story
Arctic Fox Tours is a vision of two travellers. We both came to Tromsø to see the Arctic and never left. With our experience and enthusiasm for Tromsø we realized that the way to creat the best memories to visitors is to focus on things we want to experience when travelling, such as getting to know the past and the present of the region, tasting the local food and connect with like minded people.
We also see that tourism is often a mass industry taking away the opportunity to have a personal experience, and many of the companies are not even based where they operate. And so Arctic Fox Tours was created, inspired by the resiliant arctic fox.

My name is Barnabas, born and raised in Hungary. Early on, partly because of my family, I got passionate about travelling. I visited and lived in many places around the globe throughout the years from Canada to Costa Rica, from Iceland to Tunisia.
It took me a long time to discover the Arctic, but only took me a few minutes to fall in love with it. I lived in Tromsø for about 4 years now and I'm ready to share my knowledge and enthusiasm for the Arctic with you!

My name is Juan, born in Uruguay, Latin America in the 90s, but raised in Spain, specifically in Valencia. I feel like I belong to both countries at the same time.
I've travelled to various parts of the world, from Latin America to Europe. Due to life's twists and turns I've ended up living in Tromsø. Lucky for me, here I've found good friends and I think it's a wonderful place with the coexsistance of nature and opportunities. Therefor, I've chosen to stay and live here, where I believe I can have a happy life.
I'm here to put my experience in hospitality and my goodwill at your disposal.

With an extensive research we've learned all you need to know about the city of Tromsø, so you'll get to kow the capital of the Arctic and won't miss out on places not many people know of.
We've partnered up with a one-of-a-kind traditional restaurant to bring you the ture taste of Norway, because we believe that you've only been where you ate local food. With us you have the opportunity to try the plates of Tromsø, the ones that generations grew up on.
We've also partnered up with a special ice gallery to show you around in one of the most unique galleries you'll ever visit. This is more than just a gallery, you're also our guest for a welcome drink to enjoy (alcohol free options are of course also available).
What we stand for
Arctic Fox Tours is an advocate of, and stands for ethical travel and adventure. We believe that we're here to experience the beauty of nature, to appreciate its blessings, not to abuse it for our entertainment.
Therefore we expect all of our guests to behave accordingly when in the wilderness with us. Please do not disturb the animals, do not touch or move nests, do not break branches if possible and definitely do not leave any trash behind.
